The Dejawu T-Ultimate Neolithic No.1 is the most unique and rare guitar we could possibly build. It is the very first model (and the only T-Ultimate to become available for sale) in a very limited collection of stringed instruments. The semi-hollow body and three-piece neck of the T-Ultimate Neolithic are both completely hand-carved from perfectly preserved prehistoric black maple that had been buried on the river bottom for almost 7500 years. After all those years, the maple has turned almost black. Light as a feather, including the electronics and hardware, it only weighs a mere 2600 grams. The nitro-cellulose lacquer is carefully hand polished between each application, highlighting the figuring of the grain, while maintaining the sound characteristics of the wood.

PICKUPS & WIRING

At our request, Harry Häussel built Double -TE ST-A5 pickups for both neck and bridge positions with original strat classic wire and alnico 5 magnets resulting in a very full, round and clear sound. We chose open pickup covers to keep the sound as clear as possible and finished them with the same old wood we used for this guitar. The Dejawu T-Ultimate Neolithic is equipped with a Free-Way 3x3-05 six-position toggle switch and a Push/Push tone pot. With the switch in position 1, 2 and 3 the pot switches from series humbuckers to inner single coils. In position 4, 5 and 6 it switches from parallel humbuckers to outer single coils.
