Currently, the Dejawu Neolithic Collection consists of three semi acoustic models. All are completely carved by hand from solid prehistoric maple, the best tone wood one could possibly wish for.
Over the course of 7500 years, the stunning dark brown color has developed completely naturally. Maple tends to produce a tight, focused sound with excellent note definition, making it an ideal choice for genres that require precision and articulation, such as jazz and fingerstyle playing. The brightness of maple also imparts a crisp attack to each note, allowing the intricacies of a player's technique to shine through.
