Bridge Guitar Convention
The Bridge Guitar Convention is one of the parts of the Bridge Guitar Festival that takes place in the Brainport Region Eindhoven. On Saturday Muziekgebouw Eindhoven will host the BRIDGE Guitar Convention: a big guitar fair and a dozen workshops by top guitarists.

The guitar fair - 11.30-16.30 hrs.

This event, which we've been dreaming about for several months, is about to become a reality on May 31, June 1 and 2, thanks to the support of the municipality of Plan de Cuques and the work of a team of enthusiasts who've been immersed in music for many years.

Specialists in event organization, authors of books on the subject and confirmed musicians, these complementary talents have pooled their energies to bring you an event that will be a landmark in the South of France!

The venue: the Parc de Miremont, in Plan-de-Cuques, a commune in the heart of the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis, boasting a beautiful exhibition space and a superb concert hall seating nearly 250. The Guitar Show Denmark (formerly Copenhagen Guitar Show) is a two-day event that is all about guitars, basses and amps. Exhibitors from all over Europe will participate to show and sell their goods. Visitors may enjoy a variety of workshops, clinics and concerts.

The Great Scandinavian Guitar Show is the most established vintage guitar show in Scandinavia and has been around for almost 25 years. The first edition took place in 1996, so this year will be the 24th! The show is held in the Fryshuset in Stockholm, always in the last weekend of October. Guitar dealers and luthiers from the whole of Sweden as well as from some of the other Scandinavian countries will be represented at the show.
Furthermore, the event offers various performances by both Swedish and international bands/artists. Visitors can find the Café/Catering and entertainment on the main floor, and the Guitar Show can be found one floor down in the dining room. Also, there will be surprises, prize draws and more.

The Luthier Guitar Show is a two-day annual event organized in Madrid by LuCe. LuCe is a non-profit collaborative association that - among others – aims to promote work of luthiers and handcrafted musical instruments. LuCe wants to endorse a non-mass production business model, based on quality and excellence rather than profit. The association brings together professionals dedicated to the construction of electric guitars from all over the Iberian Peninsula.

According to LuCe, there is currently no (other) place in Spain that connects musicians -professionals and amateurs- with the work that luthiers perform in their workshops.

About the Show
Like previous editions, the Amsterdam Guitar Heaven will take place in the Q-Factory. This one-day event is organized by Guitar Matrix, Gitarist, De Bassist, Gitaarschool Nederland and EGTA. This event is a combination of a workshop festival and a bass and guitar show. At the show, you can attend clinics, mini-concerts, workshops, presentations and panels. In the evening visitors can enjoy live concerts. You will find information stands in the foyer. Everything with the focus on learning to play the guitar better! During the day, there will be a Gearshow Guitar & Bass in the Grote Zaal (Big Hall) and workshops guitar and bass in the rest of the building. About the Q-Factory
Q-Factory is the largest music maker center in Europe and offers musicians, actors and dancers every opportunity to rehearse, perform or record. There is a nice café / restaurant on the ground floor and the Q-Factory Hotel, which opened in June 2017, is on the third and fourth floors. Finally, there is programming in our basement and in our small and large room.

The Northeast Guitar Expo is intended to be a gathering of the guitar community throughout the region. There really isn’t another event like this in the New England area. Created by Peter Occhineri and Kevin Kalagher, two veterans of the guitar industry, it’s their passion to bring luthiers, builders, product manufacturers and vintage dealers together for guitar enthusiasts to meet and create new relationships with.

The Northeast Guitar Expo is designed to give regional luthiers and builders a venue to show their craft to the guitar community. Many of these custom instrument builders are like best kept secrets. You can meet these guys, talk shop and play their guitars.

There are also many vintage and collectable dealers that our shows cater to. These experts are both bringing some of the best guitars you can find, and are looking to make you an offer on your personal instrument.

The Buy-Sell-Trade option lets attendees sell their personal instruments during the show. Many dealers are ready to make you an offer on the spot.

A special feature of the show is the Acoustic Cafe, a separate showroom for acoustic instrument builders to display and demo their products in a more quiet environment. This adds a “second show” to the electric guitar and bass show space.

In addition to the showcase of the finest handcrafted guitars, the Artisan Guitar Show Historical display will feature rare vintage acoustic and electric guitars that are both culturally and historically significant. These instruments are derived from both the provenance of past owner/players and the literal historical context of the individual instruments.

Concerts

The Artisan Guitar Show Concert Series will feature 16 great concert performances throughout the weekend with highly talented and respected musicians showcasing only the finest instruments being created. These performances will be diverse and will range from presentations by finger-style masters to players who make jazz arch top guitars sing.

Just as diverse are the educational workshops being presented as part of the Artisan Guitar Show Master Class Series. These master classes will provide historical background on the art of guitar making from industry legends. Workshops will explore the technical craft of guitar making with topics ranging from the art of the inlay to the importance of innovation in design. Presentations on live performance, concert production in the festival environment, and recording studio techniques have been specifically developed.
